I've cried a good bit today from the news of Lucio Dalla's passing .... AAaaahhh... I feel a bit more lonely.. Only a few weeks earlier another big name in Italian songwriting Giancarlo Bigazzi had passed away. He was an amazing lyricist whose lyrics were not the typical love song lyrics but rather multi layered lyrics that added observance of rough social realities to the songs. Most notably he co-wrote Self Control, Gloria, etc.
