Avoiding Nokia's Way: Software to extract content out of .NBU Nokia Backups If you have recent models of Nokia cell phone and you have tried backing up , you may realize that their annoying PC-Suite software doesnt allow you to go and extract individual content. Instead it only allows you to backup the phone, but this backup is a single file with the weird format of .NBU . This is very annoying as you may want to access a single item and it wont let you. Plus these .NBU files can be large. Thankfully some guy has created a Software that allows extracting content out of these .NBU files. This way you are able to extract contacts, old sms or in my case "notes" that I had made on my phone and couldnt pull out of my Nokia N series phone using windows exploerer.
