New album by 80s San Francisco Dance Artist Paul Parker

Image
New album by 80s San Francisco Dance Artist Paul Parker Paul Parker the legendary 80's San Francisco based Hi-NRG dance vocalist is back with a new album called: "Take it from me". I'll take it from him anytime !!!. He was an artist that inspired many other musicians, including myself, to make non-apologetic music about our lives the way it was. I already bought this new album from Masterbeat . Please also visit Paul Parker Website trackback dariointernet.com The site has samples of the new tracks plus cooool memorabilia . Paul comes instantly to mind for his Billboard Hot Dance #1 hit Right on Target . In the 90's he also recorded a beautiful album called Destiny where he was able to squeeze in (Mmmmh!!) some of his amazing original compositions. Please support him by buying and paying for his material and considering promotional opportunities in your region.   Related Articles Sylvester Lights out San Francisco Dario's last days in th...

60's Beat Black is Black cover in HINDI & as a backing track for El Luis (Flamenco)

60's Beat Black is Black cover in HINDI & as a backing track for El Luis (Flamenco) The 60's hit song "Black is Black" had a notorious rhythm track that everybody can immediately recognize. In this post I present two recordings you may not know that are based on Black is Black. First comes 70's flamenco star El Luis , a very interesting artist born in Galicia Spain, that however grew up in Argentina and finally started his career in Spain. His recording "yo te lo digo cantando" is one of my favorites. However, here we are to talk about another of his hits called Beibe, no huyas mas ( Baby, don't escape anymore). It takes the rhythm track of black is black and delivers on top of it a raw and tough flamenco vocal performance with new melody and lyrics. The recording is from 1977. Jimi Jamison Live in Madrid 29 Nov 09 - Concert review and sample

Jimi Jamison Live in Madrid 29 Nov 09 - Concert review and sample His voice was so smooth and beautiful. The show was excelent. A little known spanish band - I don't think they are recording artists - called Indicco acted as first the opening band and then as the backing band for Jimi and they really did a fantastic job. It sounded great. This is a great way to bring over an artist who can come by himself with the addition of his main guitar player and a local band can provide the rest. Jimi's voice was at its best. Sometimes it was just better to be quiet so one could hear that beautiful voice. The spanish band had prepaired all Jimi's hits from Survivor on, including tracks that are not typically in Jimi's set like Rebel Son. They also played tracks from the new album like my favorite "Alive" and as a bonus they did a cover of ZZ Top's "Gimme All your Lovin" for which Jimi was the original backup singer. Very tight show. Oh, somebody gave...

Music News 2009 part 1

Music News 2009 pt.1 Several of my favorite artists have new projects, so I thought I'd mention them here: Synthpop favorites Moenia from Mexico are responsible for the theme song of the movie Amar a Morir to be released in March. The italian band Subsonica will be playing in Madrid and Barcellona I saw the poster while walking in Barcelona. Pitty the band's last album was so horrible. Also their front man has an annoying voice. The San Francisco hi-nrg crooner from the 80's Paul Parker is working on a new album. Every week they play a demo on his site . The italian singer Al Ba G no has said that he will no longer kiss-up with his (new) wife in front of his daughter, so that she doesn't feel embarrased of him once they end up divorcing!! (Joke) There is a new album by Nek called "Un altra direzione" ( another direction). When I saw the jacket of the album I was horrified. He appears dressed in a suit. On top of that the title of the album ...
