Jimi Jamison Live in Madrid 29 Nov 09 - Concert review and sample His voice was so smooth and beautiful. The show was excelent. A little known spanish band - I don't think they are recording artists - called Indicco acted as first the opening band and then as the backing band for Jimi and they really did a fantastic job. It sounded great. This is a great way to bring over an artist who can come by himself with the addition of his main guitar player and a local band can provide the rest. Jimi's voice was at its best. Sometimes it was just better to be quiet so one could hear that beautiful voice. The spanish band had prepaired all Jimi's hits from Survivor on, including tracks that are not typically in Jimi's set like Rebel Son. They also played tracks from the new album like my favorite "Alive" and as a bonus they did a cover of ZZ Top's "Gimme All your Lovin" for which Jimi was the original backup singer. Very tight show.
